ADVANCED ELASTOMER SYSTEMS (AES) BUILDING - AKRON

The Advanced Elastomer Systems (AES) Building stands as a distinguished example of adaptive reuse, transforming the former BF Goodrich Building #41, an original industrial tire building facility, into a modern office environment. This project thoughtfully balances the preservation of the building’s original character with contemporary design interventions including a 7-story vertical atrium with skylights.
